4 Smart Start is a business education site. Here you will have access to information about how to start or run a business. The primary emphasis will be for those embarking on starting their own business.
No matter what your level of expertise you should find something useful here. All content is available free of charge. 
If you need specialized assistance we can try to find the help you need at a budget you can afford. Between the staff of 4 Smart Start and our affiliates we have a wide variety of entrepreneurial experience.
For those entrepreneurs with little practical experience we recommend finding either a franchise or buying an existing company as your first foray into business. While you may be able to learn on your own, the lost opportunities and the cost of mistakes as you learn will likely be more expensive than if you pay the franchise fees or the higher cost of buying an existing business.
Study Our Courses
Text books available here are free to be downloaded and studied. If you pass the information to others, we require that you include the title page with copyright notices with the distribution. If you want a CD with all the books in one easily accessed source, they are available for purchase. There is no additional information on the CD than with the online version; the CDs are available for convenience only.
The courses are divided into separate modules. The modules are organized as much as possible in the order you would need if you were to start your business from scratch with no knowledge of what you are doing. Each module is clearly marked so that if you need help with just one aspect of business, you can go directly to that module.
Finding a Business
If you are interested in having our staff find a franchise or business opportunity for you, there 
are further portions of the site that you will be able to access. Your cost for those services would be no more than if you did the work yourself.
By our filtering the potential candidates for franchises or business purchases, the franchises or business brokers pay us a fee for that service. This saves their staff from filtering through thousands of candidates for the few that qualify.
Since a successful business start-up or sale depends on how well the business owner performs, this site will filter potential candidates for knowledge of business and resources available. Certain portions of the site will be unavailable to you until you pass certain landmarks and provide information about resources.
